Aceitunas Alba are a family business dedicated to producing quality table olives and pickles for wholesale, catering and retail businesses. Aceitunas Alba produces and markets a wide range of olive varieties and flavours, such as traditional Manzanilla olive, Sevillana, Gazpacha, Gordal and black olives. We also produce a wide range of pickles: gherkins, sweet and spicy banderillas, tapas and tapenones, and baby onions. All of this is combined with different formats and packaging sizes ideal for retail and catering.<\/p>\n
Our black olives are from the Cacere\u00f1a variety. Native to the region of Extremadura, Cacere\u00f1a olives are a black fruit, with medium weight (3-4 g), spherical in shape and slightly symmetrical. They have a round apex and a truncated base, as well as numerous small lenticels.<\/p>\n
Cacere\u00f1a is a dual-purpose olive, although it has a low oil content and is used mainly as an eating olive, the oil is of high quality. This is the reason that is used for the production of oil with the Gata-Hurdes Protected Designation of Origin status. 80% of the production of Manzanilla Cacere\u00f1a olives is destined for use as eating olives (black and marinated) and only the remaining 20% is used for olive oil.<\/p>\n
Firm flesh, fine texture and balanced flavour (sharp-salty). It is used as an appetizer, in salads and as a garnish in a range of dishes. Calibre: 240\/260<\/p>\n
