Our semi cured Manchego Vega Mancha has a very smooth flavour. Packaged in a 3kg wheel, this manchego is small enough to handle and big enough to share. This quality cheese has \u201cQueso Manchego D.O.\u201d seal of authenticity, attesting to its high quality.<\/p>\n
Because this young cheese has been cured for up to 90 days, it is fresh, with a gentle sweet aroma. It has a dense paste with lots of small eyes (ojos). The texture is dry-ish but pliable. The flavours are buttery with hints of green almonds and a mild finish.<\/p>\n
Serve slices or wedges of this flavourful cheese as tapas or snacks with olives, accompanied by sherry, beer or sangria. It makes a great table cheese accompanied by traditional membrillo (quince paste), fresh fruit or honey.<\/p>\n
